Serendipity

I sat down last dusk, intending to start on the wonky batik logs... but look what happened! I had several batik enchantment square assortments, gathered over the last 3-4 years in the same storage box ~ the squares became HST which became a wallhanging which has been named Serendipity.

This morning, I did some vivacious checking on the word 'serendipity' and found this riveting (lengthy) article, including a connector at the end for the story of the Princes of Serendip.

Not what I had planned or intended, but this interest will be a welcome burst of color behind my desk at exertion!
